Descriptive Title: Clinical Instructor – Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Stony Brook Cancer Center
Department: Medicine – Division of Hematology & Oncology
Required Qualifications: Current NYS RN license. Master’s degree in nursing. NYS license and certification as an adult and/or family nurse practitioner or Physician Assistant’s degree with NYS License and certification.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the management and treatment of cancer and hematology patients. Excellent communication skills. Experience with solid tumor patients.
Responsibilities & Requirements: The APP will report to the Division Chief of Hematology/Oncology. Responsibilities may include all or some of the following: Independently assess and evaluate follow up solid tumor patients at the outpatient clinic of Stony Brook Cancer Center.
